UI/UX Work
Below is a sampling of the UI/UX work I led in my time as Creative Director and ACD for the Spacestation Nebula creative team.
I worked closely with our UI/UX designer Chase Murphy to break down client and project goals, identify success metrics and provide continued support after site rollouts.
We our wireframing and flat art stages were completed in XD before switching to Figma and our final site builds were all created with Webflow.
Chase was the hands-on designer, but oversaw all elements of project management, art direction, user flow, animation, and troubleshooting pre- and post-rollout.
Spacestation
Investments
Spacestation's angel investment arm functions as a collective that solicits small sums from its members and pools them to create large scale investments in new startups.
They needed a new website that felt trustworthy and secure to members and startups, while conveying that the firm doesn't function like a stuffy Wall Street hedge fund.
Airlock
Airlock was Spacestation's events company that primarily ran live broadcast and esports events. This site served as a client acquisition tool and place to exhibit case studies of their previous events.
Nodal Power
Nodal Power was cofounded by Spacestation's owners. It's a project that captures methane gas that naturally emanates from landfills and burns it to generate electricity.
The website needed to appeal to younger investors while also not feeling so 'slick' as to alienate landfill managers who tend to be a little more 'old school.'
